GOVERNOR CORZINE JOINS SENATOR OBAMA’S “CORE ECONOMIC ADVISORS” TO DISCUSS SOLUTIONS FOR THE ECONOMY

TRENTON - Governor Jon S. Corzine today joined Senator Barrack Obama and his group of “core economic advisors” to participate in freeform discussion about ways to strengthen the U.S. Economy. Other participants included financier Warren Buffet, and Google Chairman and CEO Eric Schmidt.
Governor Corzine offered the following statement:
“The most compelling thing that I found today is Senator Obama’s willingness to listen to and consider ideas coming from a number of different perspectives,” Governor Corzine said. “It was reassuring to me as well as a number of the other participants that we have a candidate who wants to consider real world solutions and not just sound bites.”
