Jefferson City, Missouri — Secretary of State Robin Carnahan today announced that the Constitution Party has been certified to appear on the ballot for the November 4, 2008, General Election.

The Constitution Party petition had over 12,000 signatures verified by local election authorities. State law allows a new political party to be placed on the ballot statewide if it obtains at least 10,000 valid signatures from registered voters in the state.

The Constitution Party will have 18 candidates on the ballot for the November 4, 2008, General Election:
