BOSTON – Tuesday, June 10, 2008 – Governor Patrick announced today the nomination of a veteran Worcester practitioner with broad experience in both civil and criminal matters to the Leominster District Court.

“Mark Noonan’s depth of experience will be a great asset to the Leominster District Court, and ensure the fair and compassionate administration of justice,” said Governor Patrick.

Mark E. Noonan, 47, a graduate of UMass Boston and Suffolk University School of Law, is a longtime resident and respected member of the Worcester Bar. Noonan served for three years as an Assistant District Attorney for the Middle District Office of the District Attorney prior to establishing his private civil and criminal defense practice. He was awarded the Donald D. Deren Courageous Advocacy Award in 1997 for his tireless commitment to the representation
