Topeka, KS—Caving to Kansas Republican Party pressure, the Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) pulled their $1.2 million ad buy in Kansas’ 2nd Congressional District.

Kansas Republican Party Executive Director Christian Morgan stated, “It appears that the DCCC doesn’t think Nancy Boyda can beat Lynn Jenkins and has decided to spend their dollars elsewhere. Why else would they announce their withdrawal the day after Lynn Jenkins won the nomination?

“Lynn had a strong victory last night by taking advantage of the frustration the people of the 2nd District have with the current Congress and, in particular, Nancy Boyda. Voters are taking notice of Lynn’s stance against wasteful spending and her pledge to make the tax cuts permanent. Nancy Boyda’s days of working against the citizens of the 2nd District are over.”
