In comments published today on the Kansas City Star Prime Buzz Blog, Kathleen Sebelius clearly demonstrated that she is just another Democrat who is frustrated with Republican’s, in part because of the weakness of her own party’s nominee for President.
Executive Director Christian Morgan stated, “Comments attributed to Sebelius stated, ‘...He’s not qualified, he’s somebody who should scare you. He’s too liberal...’ and she is exactly right. Obama has been rated as the most liberal Senator in the nation; he was a state senator 4 years ago who didn’t vote on any tough issue that came across his desk; and he has already made numerous contradictions on his proposed foreign policy positions. It all adds up to change we can’t afford.
Morgan continued, “We thought the Governor was above partisan politics and claimed to be above the party rhetoric. Instead, we see with these comments that she is no different then any other Democrat running for higher office.”
“Her wild claims and accusations are below a sitting Governor. Rhetoric like this comes from Jesse Jackson, not the Governor of Kansas. Fear mongering and tactics such as these are the problem with politicians who have their eye on higher office. Knowing Obama can’t win on the issues, Sebelius decides to say anything to get attention.”
