Topeka, KS—Today, in another signal that Nancy Boyda’s campaign is faltering, she was unable to muster enough signatures to file by petition for her re-election efforts. Instead, she had to pay the filing fee in order to get ballot access in November.

Executive Director Christian Morgan stated, “This is just a classic example of a politician whose policies are bad for the people of her district. Boyda’s inability to collect enough signatures is proof that her out-of-touch liberal politics are damaging the residents of the 2nd Congressional District.

“Whether it’s Boyda’s inability to address fuel prices that have doubled since she took office, her continuing abuse of Congressional earmarks, and her pork-barrel pet spending projects, or her numerous votes to harm the Kansas economy, the voters of Kansas are clear—Nancy Boyda is bad for the 2nd District.”

Morgan concluded, “I am confident that when November rolls around, petition signatures will be the least of Boyda’s problems as she looks for a new job.”
