Attorney General’s Office to Participate in Crime Prevention Events

(Phoenix, Ariz. – Aug. 4, 2008) The Arizona Attorney General’s Office will participate in four drug and crime prevention events in Arizona on Tuesday, August 5, as part of the 25th annual National Night Out. National Night Out is a nationwide event designed to raise awareness of local drug and crime prevention programs and to increase citizen involvement in community crime prevention partnerships.

The Attorney General’s Office will participate in National Night Out celebrations in Payson, Flagstaff, Kingman and Sedona. Crime and Fraud Prevention Unit staff will be available to discuss the prevention programs and resources offered by the Attorney General’s Office, including the ARIZONA METH PROJECT, Internet safety for children and identity theft protection.
