Office of the Attorney General: Terry Goddard Names Anne Hilby Press Secretary

(Phoenix, Ariz. - July 22, 2008) Attorney General Terry Goddard today announced the appointment of Anne T. Hilby as press secretary for the Attorney General’s Office, effective July 23.

She will fill the vacancy created by Andrea M. Esquer, who is leaving the office to enroll this fall at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.

Hilby has worked in communications at the Attorney General’s Office since January 2007. Prior to her government service, she participated in her family’s Phoenix-area real estate business and worked as a field organizer for the Arizona Democratic Party in 2004.

An Arizona native, Hilby lives in downtown Phoenix. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in religious studies from Harvard University.
