(STATE CAPITOL, PHOENIX) – In classic western style, State Treasurer Dean Martin will ride an authentic Wells Fargo stagecoach led by a team of horses to deliver the newly minted Arizona quarters to the State Capitol on Monday, June 2, 2008. Treasurer Martin and Wells Fargo Bank Arizona President Pamela Conboy will carry a “strong box” in the stage coach loaded with the new Arizona quarters. The public and media are invited to the departure from Wells Fargo Bank and watch the stage coach as it makes its way along the route to the State Capitol.

“As Arizona was the last continental state to enter the Union, it is exciting that we celebrate our rich history as we deliver the newly minted Arizona Quarters to the Capitol in an authentic stagecoach. As an original Quarter Commission member that worked on this project from concept to completion, it’s an honor to literally bring the quarters across the finish line and deliver them to the public,” said State Treasurer Dean Martin.
