MONTGOMERY – Commissioner of Agriculture & Industries Ron Sparks is extremely pleased that the Buckmasters Expo will be held in Montgomery on August 15-18.  The Buckmasters Expo has been held in North Carolina for the last 3 years, but due to the extensive renovations to the Civic Center in downtown Montgomery and much support from state and community leaders, the Expo has returned to Alabama.     

“I am really proud that Buckmasters will be able to host their annual Expo in Montgomery this year,” said Sparks.  “The city has a lot to offer convention attendees and the Civic Center has excellent amenities.  This should be an exciting weekend.”  

The Buckmasters Expo features exhibitors, vendors and family entertainment from various areas of the hunting industry.  Entry to the event can be had by simply bringing a canned food item to donate to the Montgomery Area Food Bank. 

The Expo hours are 3-9 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday.  For more information, go to http://www.buckmasters.com and search "expo."
